Thinking Studio
Thinking Studio blends stories, dialogue, and creative expression to invite children into big questions about the human experience. Through this process, children practice making meaning, expressing ideas with intention, and participating in a community that values curiosity, care, and thoughtful exchange.
Who is this for?
- Children ages 6-12 who enjoy stories, ask questions, & express themselves creatively
- Homeschooling families seeking intentional learning community
- Families seeking after school enrichment (Mondays only)
Studio Days
- Weekly studio days for 2 cohorts:
- Mondays 1:30-4p
- Wednesdays 9-11a
- Sessions run in six-week cycles
- Children register for the full six-week session, ensuring continuity & deep engagement

Stories provide a shared context for curiosity, while dialogue supports careful listening, perspective-taking, and articulating what matters to them. Each session explores a theme and follows an arc of inquiry: noticing → difference → impact → responsibility → repair → what we believe now.
Children explore ideas through authentic art materials—not as a craft project, but as a way to reflect, process, and express thinking. Using watercolor, pastel, charcoal, clay, and more, children communicate complex ideas in ways that conversation alone cannot achieve.
Each session concludes with a small exhibition, where children share selected works alongside short “Artist Statements.” Families and community members are invited to engage with their thinking through conversation and reflection.
